This position is part of the Global R&D located in Madison, WI and will be located on-site. At Aldevron, we combine best-in-class products and service with the ideal operating environment to lay the groundwork for vital new discoveries worldwide. You will be a part of the Analytical Method Validation team and report to the Senior Scientist I, AMV responsible for ensuring analytical methods developed for the Protein Business Unit can successfully be validated.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out laboratory experimentation in support of late stage assay development and pre-qualification/validation
- Record data and create project summary reports and presenting findings and recommendations to the team.
- Actively contribute to a team setting within the laboratory to: increase efficiency, solve problems, generate cost savings, improve quality, and provide new innovation support.
Requirements:
- BS with 1+ years of experience OR MS with 0 years of experience in biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, chemistry, or related discipline
- Experience with at least one of the following instrumentation: plate readers, ELISA, electrophoresis equipment, HPLC, capillary gel electrophoresis, RT-PCR, or digital droplet PCR
- Must be able to develop solutions for simple and complex problems, which require a high degree of ingenuity, creativity, and innovation.
- Method validation and/or development is a plus.
- Biochemical and molecular biology assays experience is a plus.
The salary range for this role is $50,000 to $5,000 annually. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
