About the job
This job is part of a training program at RapDev aimed at helping new college graduates quickly ramp up at an engineering role at RapDev. You will be part of a 4 or 5 person team, that will go through 3 months of training and shadowing to prepare for your first engineering project. The candidate will be responsible for learning the ServiceNow platform, and how to implement its integrations on different systems as well as provide best practices consulting. We will provide assistance and training on the ServiceNow platform but the candidate is expected to know their way around deploying Linux systems and using basic configuration management tools by the end of the 3-month program.

Responsibilities
- Develop quality software and web applications
- Analyze and maintain existing software applications
- Design highly scalable, testable code
- Discover and fix programming bugs
- 3rd party integration development (REST, SOAP, mid servers, etc)
- Write/create custom business rules, client scripts, script includes, UI policies, ACL's, UI scripts
- Work independently with customers on implementations and remote services
- Troubleshoot basic configuration/script issues
- Attend requirements review and validation sessions as needed
- Participate in SCRUM calls
- Utilize strong written and verbal communication skills
- Stay on time and on task with assigned customer work
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Co-ops or Internships are helpful, but no prior work experience is required
- Linux/Unix experience with on-prem or cloud systems
- Self-learner and eager to understand new technologies
- Experience in a modern monitoring platform is a plus
- Scripting/programming experience in shell, Python, Go, or PowerShell is a plus
