The Services Portfolio Management team is responsible for the strategy, creation, and maintenance of Motorola's Managed and Support services offerings across our global Land Mobile Radio, Consoles, and Private Broadband portfolio. This includes: gathering and prioritizing service and customer requirements; defining the service offer vision and strategy, collaborating with Product and other key work partners to deliver winning service offerings and solutions, and managing the service offer throughout its lifecycle.
Job Description

The Associate Product Specialist is responsible for helping the Services Offer Manager bring new service offerings to market that solve customer problems and create new sources of revenue for our company through service design, development, launch, and maintenance. This includes managing the service offering throughout its lifecycle (inception to end of support) and involves gathering and prioritizing service requirements, defining the service vision, and collaborating with key work partners to deliver winning service products and solutions.

Candidate must be a self-starter; able to work multiple projects simultaneously; able to work effectively in a matrix organization, and capable of scheduling deliverables to meet program timelines. The candidate shall be able to communicate and work across multiple disciplines, including: Engineering, Finance, Sales, Product Management, Service transition and deliver, and Operations. Additional skills include the ability to influence decision makers by means of effective presentations and data analysis.

Major duties & responsibilities of an Associate Services Offer Specialist include, but are not limited to:

  • Familiarize yourself with company’s product lines and service offerings and their impact on our customers and market as a whole

  • Build relationships with stakeholders across the organization as it relates to your assigned portfolio of service offerings

  • Maintain an existing services offer portfolio, including periodic troubleshooting and corrective actions for operational issues

  • Process incremental price increases

  • Deliver on-going service offer training (Portfolio Awareness)

  • Address key work partner questions related to the offer, including scope and ordering topics

  • Lifecycle management - work with Offer Managers to manage lifecycle communications and updates to services and all material

  • Maintain service mapping and finance models

  • Monitor and report services adoption and other key metrics


Basic Requirements

What we require:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent field experience in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or IT related field

  • 1+ years experience in product management or related role
