Associate Software Developer

Job Description

ASRC Federal Network Technologies is seeking an Associate Software Developer with Linux experience who is ready to take a "deep-dive" into cross domain solutions and related capabilities. This is your opportunity to flourish in a highly driven environment. You will gain valuable experience learning proprietary cross domain technology and frequently working on different projects. This position is hybrid remote and working at our Fort Meade, MD location is required.

NOTE: This position requires a minimum of 3 days on-site at Ft. Meade, MD.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or other related discipline or additional experience in lieu of a degree
• Zero to Two (0-2) years of work experience in a relevant, technical role
• Security+ is required within 90 days of working the role
• Active Secret clearance preferred
• Experience with several coding languages with a demonstrable willingness to learn new languages and systems
• Must be willing to travel to domestic and international locations
• Must be able to work on-site at the Ft. Meade, MD location

• Proven ability to independently learn proprietary applications
• Ability to anticipate problems and take decisive action
• Ability to find innovative ways to solve problems
• Demonstrable experience with learning new languages
• Experience interfacing with external stakeholders and performing integration efforts to include establishing network connectivity, user authentication, and data transfer
• Thorough knowledge of common transfer protocols such as SFTP, SCP, and HTTPS
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Excellent teamwork skills, result oriented, and self-motivated
