Associate Software Developer

Allegro MicroSystems is seeking an entry level Software Developer to join our team. We are using technology to innovate with a purpose in an effort increase company performance. This position works closely with Sales & Marketing for the pursuit of improving top line growth. We do this by developing or enhancing business solutions to support business development initiatives. We are looking for someone who possesses technical skills and the ability to work with business team members to capture required features, clearly define business logic, and be a key contributor to business solutions.

In this position, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with business, technical, and team members
• Being part of the team of developers for defining, designing, coding, and testing features or applications
• Designing, coding, and testing solutions in C# .NET
• Designing, configuring, coding, and testing in Salesforce CRM
• Performing front-end development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related technologies
• Performing system and code reviews to analyze scalability, reliability, and performance
• Working with relational databases (Microsoft SQL)
• Providing application support for existing applications
• Integrating with other business line systems whether they are commercial or internally developed software platforms
• Developing reports using tools such as SSRS or Tableau

You should have experience in at least 50% of the following:

• Design and development experience, preferably with .NET Core
• Salesforce administration
• Web service development including designing, building, and testing
• 1 year of experience with front-end development with HTML, CSS, Vue.js, Telerik components, etc.
• Experience with commercial low code platforms and integration tools (e.g. MuleSoft, SharePoint) is a plus
• Microsoft SQL database development
• Full-Lifecyle Experience - from design to development to implementation to support
• Ability to lead development and testing efforts
• Strong understanding of Source Control Management (git strongly preferred)
• Experience with continuous integration preferably with Azure DevOps pipelines
• Cloud Development in Azure (preferred), AWS or GCP
• Knowledge of serverless technologies and architectures, e.g., Azure Functions

Qualifications:

This position requires a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent work-related experience.
