Join the Dolby Vision technology development team. A successful candidate will have an opportunity to create, improve and drive the development of the video technologies offered in various software form factors by Dolby Laboratories in the consumer devices (TV's, Smartphones, Tablets etc.) and the Professional Software used by the most influential technology companies in the world. The role is part of the engineering team in Wroclaw, Poland, and provides opportunity to connect with other Dolby engineering and business entities in the USA and Germany.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop cross-platform (Windows, Linux, macOS) Dolby Vision components,
  • Develop low-level technology software in C and the component software in C++,
  • Build and deepen the Video knowledge,
  • Actively participate in analyzing, identifying the requirements and designing the components architecture.
Key Requirements:
  • Fluency and High Efficiency in the Software Engineering (especially C and the Object Oriented Languages),
  • Video Codec Knowledge,
  • Willingness to build deep expertise in the Video and the Dolby Vision domain,
  • Positive attitude and willingness to solve challenging problems.
Desired:
  • Ability to solve engineering problems in various languages including Python and JavaScript,
  • Understanding of the SDR and HDR video standards,
  • Good understanding of multi-threading in software development,
  • Experience in usage of SIMD instructions, GPU programming and performance optimizations.
