Associate Software Engineer

At Anaplan, we are looking for a self-motivated ASSOCIATE SOFTWARE ENGINEER to join our growing Anaplan Administration Value Stream team remotely in the United States. Our software engineers at Anaplan have a passion for software and have a customer first mentality. They work diligently with our product counterpart to understand challenges customers face, while supporting the design and development of products that address those challenges at enterprise scale.

This role will be joining the wider Application Experience organization, with multiple value stream aligned teams working on vertically addressing end to end customer needs. In the administration value stream, this role will be working on projects such as Administration Security, Tenant Enablement and Self Service, Credentials and Identity management and other related initiatives.

On any given day as a Software Engineer you may find yourself:

• Joining and contributing to team ceremonies following agile frameworks
• Collaborating with other team members for software development and building new features
• Collaborate with the UX and Product teams to scrutinize proposed product enhancements and help converge to optimal solutions
• Discuss technical feasibility and trade-offs with engineering teams
• Work with enterprise tooling for platform development such as: GitHub, Jira, Splunk, SignalFx, New Relic, Jenkins on top of coding in Java, Kotlin, React and/or other technologies

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Curious, self-motivator that enjoys collaborating within a team
• Exhibit positive energy and a passion for problem solving
• Organized, analytical and methodical
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Prior exposure to product or platform development
