Associate Software Engineer Summary:

Come joinRSM's Human Cantered-Design Practice. This team works closely with our middlemarket clients to help them achieve their business objectives and strategies.Our Software Engineers go through the full software development lifecycle. Theyparticipate in the design, testing and execution of the code that is developed.Our Software Engineers are able to help gather user requirements, define systemfunctionality and write code in various languages. The role of the SoftwareEngineer at RSM is to build high-quality, innovative, and well-architectedsolutions that comply with our coding and design standards.

Responsibilities:

• Consistentlyand accurately execute and complete tasks on a project
• Workalongside a Senior Engineer, Technical Lead or Technical Architect on a projectto further increase development knowledge and ensure portions of their work aredone properly and on time
• Increasejob knowledge by studying latest development tools, programming techniques andpotential integrations with existing software
• Work withand provide open communication with other disciplines to help solve problems,diagnose potential issues or share progress on a project
• Createaccurate estimates on tasks
• Writewell-designed, testable code
• Comply toproject plans put in place through Agile SCRUM principles and other projectmanagement practices on a project
• Participatein code reviews

Anexcellent candidate likely has some of these skills and qualifications:

• Experiencewith .NET or Node.js (preferred)
• Experiencedeveloping interactive applications
• Excellentcommunication skills
• Highproblem-solving aptitude
• Experiencein a software development role utilizing .NET, Node.js, or other comparabletechnology (Java, Ruby on Rails, - etc.)
• Experiencewith front-end programming (e.g., TypeScript/JavaScript, React, Vue, Angular,CSS/SASS)
• Expertisewith software IDEs like Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code
• Expertisewith source control management tools such as Git
• Knowledgeof relational databases or NoSQL databases
• Organizationaland time-management skills
• Ability todocument requirements and specifications
