Associate Software Engineer

We are hiring experienced Full Stack Mobile developers to help us build the next-generation of LBGTQ+ dating apps. We are specifically exploring maps-centric designs with boundary-pushing UI concepts, some of which are directly inspired by designs in the Mapbox gallery.

We are a small, agile, nimble company, so the ability to make an impact is significant. The position is permanent and full-time.

What you'll do:

• Develop ads and marketing alerts using React Native in JavaScript and/or TypeScript
• Developing new ways to communicate with our users in exciting ways
• Building ads with a privacy first model to ensure we protect our users unlike the industry standard, where all information is shared with 3rd parties
• Pair with your teammates to learn and develop together
• Excel at communication with our distributed, remote team
• Part time and remote

Who you are:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 1+ years of web development experience
• Sense of ownership, ability to work independently, and proven track record of driving products

Nice to have experience:

• Experience using design and architecture patterns
• Build well factored, maintainable, and tested code with Test & Behavior Driven Development (TDD & BDD)
• Understand and build using strong architectural patterns
• Have a strong sense of OO programming and Architectural patterns

Salary Range: $60,000-$200,000
