Your Role

We at Innovaccer are seeking an Associate Software Engineer to contribute to the creation of an exceptional product and organizational experience with the Security Team. In this role, you will collaborate with a team of skilled engineers and analysts to craft feature-rich experiences that address and resolve our organization’s and customer’s challenges.

A Day in the Life

• Develop efficient and reusable applications and abstractions.
• Engage in the entire project life cycle, from pitch and prototyping through definition and design to build, integration, unit testing, review, deployment, and delivery.
• Identify and communicate best practices for both Frontend and Backend.
• Analyse and improve the performance, scalability, stability, and security of the product.
• Elevate engineering standards, tooling, and processes.
• Familiarization with multi-cloud setup i.e AWS, Azure, GCP
• Work closely with Application & Platform Engineering, DevOps, SRE and Product departments to deliver high quality products at large-scale in a fast paced environment
• Understanding of Security concepts like OWASP TOP 10, SANS, CIS, NIST and work on improvement of the same
• Develop prototypes and applications for security team and healthcare for Mobile, Web & Desktop platforms
• Good grasp of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, LLMs, etc.

What You Need

• Final Year Bachelor’s or Master’s student in Information Technology or Computer Science Engineering.
• Able to translate problem statements into actionable using relevant data structures  and algorithms.
• Understanding of computer science fundamentals with a knowledge of concepts in operating systems, computer networks and whatever you need to deliver the most efficient experience for the user.
• Write code with good hygiene, focusing on naming, modularity, and reusability. Document code effectively.
• Creative problem solving and ability to develop eloquent solutions with your skills.
• Solid knowledge of NodeJs/Python and experience with any web framework. (NodeJs-Express/NodeJs-Fastify/Python-Django, etc)
• Good Experience in RDBMS & NoSQL database and in Web Services and REST.
• Familiar with Amazon AWS/Microsoft Azure services as an IaaS/PaaS containers (Dockers/Kubernetes).
• Reasonable knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
• Ability to work on Windows and Linux platform below the application layer, including file systems, kernels, custom installations, shell scripting, internal APIs, etc.
• Experience with seamless integration of front-end to back-end functionality.
• Capable of understanding tools and their backend logic and being open to work with open source solutions.
• (Bonus) Understanding about the importance of Security in applications
• An innate desire to be curious and deliver with a strong sense of accountability for our work.
• A belief in progress over perfection.
• Able to work independently, being a team player, ability to work well under pressure.
• Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• Collaborates effectively and communicates efficiently.
• Proficient in opensource tools & technologies.
• Ready to take up more responsibilities along-with existing role.
• Work independently on creation of applications & automations
