Associate Software Engineer

Job Description

Fabletics is looking for a remote Associate Software Engineer.

Fabletics is the global integrated business service provider behind several fashion brands. Our team combines the functions of data-driven marketing, technology, supply chain, fulfillment, and customer service all under one roof. Our integrated services builds and maintains customized solutions to help brands launch, scale, and grow - both across product categories and geographically.

We are looking for an Associate Software Engineer who is excited to learn and grow as part of the team that contributes to our e-commerce platform, powering omnichannel business goals across millions of customers worldwide. You will collaborate with a high-performing and diverse squad of front and back-end engineers in conjunction with Product, Design, and Marketing teams.

This position will report to the Engineering Manager of the Platforms API Team.

What you can bring:

• Intrinsic motivation for learning and solving problems with software
• A passion for quality, attention to detail and collaboration
• Experience with TypeScript/JavaScript/NodeJs
• Experience building and consuming APIs, (REST, gRPC, Json Rpc, GraphQL etc)
• Familiar with Source Control (Git/GitHub)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering Bootcamp Certification(s), or relevant self-learning certification(s)/experience.
• Flexibility with occasional travel to HQ in Los Angeles to interface with teams face-to-face

What you will do:

• Contribute to TypeScript/JavaScript/NodeJs source repositories
• Write Unit Tests and Integration Tests in REST APIs
• Write Unit Tests and Integration Tests in GraphQL APIs
• Resolve software defects, implement features and refactor for testability
• Attend daily standups and project focused meetings
• Participate in strategic team meetings and initiatives
• Use software delivery techniques
• Use tools that optimize developer workflow
• Use software delivery tools for source code management (Git/GitHub) and project management (Jira)
• Have some fun working with a high performing team

The annual base salary range for this position is from $75,100-$90,000. The range provided includes the base salary that Fabletics expects to pay for the role. Offered base salary will be dependent on factors including the scope and complexity of the role, candidate's related work experience, subject matter expertise and work location.
