Aladdin Product Service Engineering(APSE) sits within BlackRock Solutions (BRS) and is responsible for delivering technology solutions to support BRS business operations for scale and efficiency.

Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Building scalable, performant and user delight software solutions to drive value to our business
- Following standard PDLC/SDLC process to deliver engineering outcomes in the most efficient ways
- Working closely with Product Owners to understand the business processes, analyze requirements and understand testing requirements
- Timely and relevant communication of technology plans, decisions, and challenges to engineering leads and stakeholders
Qualifications
- 3+ Years of hands-on programming experience. Ability to work anywhere in the technical stack, delivering quality front and back-end solutions.
- Practical expertise across programming languages including: Java, SQL, Python, and Javascript, as well as frameworks such as Spring and Spark
- Proven ability to work with varied forms of data infrastructure, including relational databases; distributed data processing and storage solutions, e.g. Snowflake, Hadoop/HDFS, Spark, and Cassandra.
- Proficiency-building and passionate about creating great products that solve critical business problems
- Strong teamwork, communication skills and time management abilities
- Knowledge of or interest in business transformation is recommended
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent work experience preferred.

Our hybrid work model
BlackRock's current hybrid work model is designed to enable in-person connections and collaboration that is core to our culture, while supporting increased flexibility for all employees. In line with local health guidance and regulations, employees are required to work at least 3 days in the office each week, with the flexibility to work from home up to 2 days a week. Some business groups may require more time in the office due to their roles and responsibilities.
