It's with that in mind that Hireology is looking to add an Associate Software Engineer to our team.

About the Role:
As an Associate Software Engineer, you will work closely with a talented team of engineers and mentors to design, develop, and deploy features that drive our platform forward. You'll have the opportunity to learn and grow in a collaborative environment while contributing to real-world projects. This role is ideal for those eager to learn, who have a passion for coding, and are excited about building scalable applications.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a team to develop and maintain full-stack applications, focusing on scalability, performance, and usability.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to team-wide best practices.
  • Work closely with Product and Design teams to understand requirements and implement solutions that meet business needs.
  • Debug and troubleshoot software issues in real-time, ensuring high-quality standards.
  • Learn and grow your skills by working with experienced developers and adopting new tools and technologies.


Our Tech Stack:
While experience with our tech stack is not required, candidates should be eager to learn and work with the following:

  • Backend: C# and .NET
  • Database: PostgreSQL
  • Frontend: Next.js (React)


What We're Looking For:

  • 0-3 years of experience in software engineering, coding, or development.
  • Experience with or interest in full-stack development (frontend, backend, database).
  • Solid understanding of at least one programming language (C#, JavaScript, Python, Java, etc.).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • A passion for learning new technologies, coding standards, and agile methodologies.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and work in a team-oriented environment.


Nice to Have (but not required):

  • Exposure to C#, .NET, PostgreSQL, Next.js, or other related technologies.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and version control systems like Git.
