Team SPS is hiring an Associate Software Engineer II to join our Trading Partner Development Engineering Team! The Associate Software Engineer II will design, develop, document, test, deploy, and debug new and existing software. They will also create, implement, integrate, and maintain software and system components that deliver value to our customers. The Associate Software Engineer II works on well-defined tasks and seeks out appropriate support to complete assigned task.

Day to Day

• Work collaboratively with your team to design, develop, document, test, deploy, and debug new and existing software

• Plan how the code will be monitored and diagnosed to minimize outages

• Build services and components upon the latest frameworks, platforms and service providers

• Monitor dashboards and respond to alerts and keep your services running smoothly

• Partner with experts in specialized areas like usability, cloud automation, and service reliability in a technically complex environment

• Partner with your peers to monitor and support new and existing software

• Learn existing tools, process, procedures, and professional concepts

• Clearly communicate progress on tasks

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 1+ years of relevant Experience; or equivalent work experience

• Knowledge of core computer science concepts and can develop applications with limited scope

• Ability to pair program with peers; works well in a collaborative setting - is a team player

• Experience in modern frameworks such as React and Angular or a programming language like Python, Java or Go

• Excellent communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills

• Ability to balance multiple tasks concurrently

Preferred Experience

• Experience with Agile, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Python, Java, or Node, Database, AWS, Django & Cloud familiarity
