This role is responsible for supporting the Wealth Management (WM) business unit in a coordinated effort with Enterprise Risk to strengthen, coordinate, and execute Operational Resiliency including but not limited to Business Continuity and Vendor Oversight. This individual will be responsible for supporting the WM Control Team in developing, embedding and managing the frameworks, tools, and methodologies in line with regulatory requirements and enterprise policies and standards to both appropriately manage risk and enable the Business Unit's financial objectives. This individual will be a lead support to the team manager and wider business in support of the delivery of key projects, will provide guidance to others, solve complex issues, and work independently.
The key responsibilities for this role include:
• WM Operational Resiliency Program Implementation & Ownership, including:
o Collaborate with Enterprise Risk Program Owners and the WM Control in defining and building out the function including roles and responsibilities of new partners to support the risk programs
o Develop/maintain strong long-term working relationships with key business decision makers, risk program owners and subject matter experts, and externally with peer groups and other key stakeholders
o Develop and manage operational processes, template reviews, and establish metrics (e.g., key risk indicators, key performance indicators (KPIs)) to monitor overall performance against agreed upon milestones, risk thresholds, service level agreements and/or other measurement criteria
o Develop and ensure adherence to a consistent governance process
o Understand, compile, manage, and lead communication of required information for supplier performance reviews on a monthly, quarterly or annual basis including profiles, reports and scorecards as necessary
o Perform recurring Resiliency Assessments to include the reporting and tracking of KPIs and sessions with business/matrix partners on a regular basis
The successful candidate will benefit from having:
• 8+ years of experience / knowledge ofOperational Resiliency includingRisk and Control Self-Assessments, Disaster / Business Recovery,Business Continuity Management, 3rd Party Vendor/Outsourcing, corporate risk policies and standards
• An undergraduate or graduate degree in Finance, Risk, and/or other relevant field is highly preferred
• Wealth Management experience a plus
• Must have strong analytical, interpersonal, and leadership skills
• Excellent collaboration, and oral / written communication skills
• Strong business acumen with proven ability to interact with all levels of the organization
• Highly flexible and adaptable to change
• Leadership and organizational skills are required to direct the activities for multiple units within WM
• Project Management skills with ability to drive to execution
