What you get to do:
- Manage assigned accounting responsibilities
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Enter journal entries, complete account reconciliations, and manage select ledger accounts across multiple entities
- Analyze general ledger transactions and accounts, using technical judgment, to ensure that financial transactions are recorded
- Assist with month-end, quarter-end and year-end close
- Prepare information for and assist with financial audits and reviews
- Help develop internal processes to improve the financial reporting process
- Keep organized records
- Perform other accounting, financial, or administrative office responsibilities
- Gain familiarity and working knowledge of general ledger systems
- Work with departments to determine workflows and resolve issues
- Assist Accounting Lead and Assistant Controller with monthly close process
- Ad-hoc financial analysis including potential for inter-department projects
What you will bring to the team:
- 2+ years of work experience in accounting/financial reporting
- Public accounting experience is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business.
- Working knowledge of GAAP accounting
- Ability to multitask, problem solve and troubleshoot with minimal direction
- Ability to adapt to multiple cloud based/online financial platforms to execute reports
- Previous reconciliation experience with large data sets is preferred
- The willingness to take on new tasks and broaden scope of responsibilities
- Proficient in Excel, including vlookups and pivot tables
- Experience with Sage Intacct is a plus
- Experience with FloQast is a plus
Reports to: Accounting Lead
Job Level: Associate
The minimum salary for this role is $57,000. The total compensation package includes eligibility for performance-based bonuses as well as a 1-time equity grant based on level.
The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package and benefits, will be at the company’s sole discretion, and determined by a myriad of factors including, but not limited to, years of experience, depth of experience, and other relevant business considerations.
