Accountabilities:

You will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and optimization of Siemens OpCenter MES solutions, ensuring alignment with manufacturing processes, regulatory standards, and business objectives across pharmaceutical and biotech operations.

  • Lead end-to-end implementation of Siemens OpCenter MES solutions, from requirements gathering to deployment
  • Analyze manufacturing workflows and translate them into MES recipes, operations, and unit procedures
  • Design and configure Manufacturing Batch Records (MBR) and Electronic Batch Records (EBR) aligned with ISA S88 standards
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and business teams to ensure process alignment and compliance
  • Ensure adherence to GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, and Computer System Validation (CSV) requirements
  • Support system validation, user acceptance testing (UAT), and production rollout activities
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to quality, compliance, and manufacturing processes
  • Drive integration of MES with upstream and downstream systems within the MOM ecosystem
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and governance across MES projects
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation within digital manufacturing systems

  • Requirements:

    You bring strong expertise in MES implementations within regulated industries, combined with deep technical knowledge of Siemens OpCenter and pharmaceutical manufacturing processes. You are comfortable working in cross-functional environments and leading complex project deliveries across teams in India.

    • 4+ years of experience in MES implementation, with strong expertise in Siemens OpCenter Pharma
    • Hands-on experience in Recipe Authoring and Manufacturing Batch Record (MBR) design
    • Solid understanding of ISA S88 standards and batch process modeling
    • Experience designing operations, unit procedures, and MES workflows
    • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical or biotech manufacturing processes
    • Experience with Electronic Batch Records (EBR) design and validation
    • Familiarity with GxP systems, Computer System Validation (CSV), and SDLC methodologies
    • Understanding of regulatory requirements including 21 CFR Part 11 compliance
    • Experience with MES/MOM integrations and process optimization
    • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
    • Ability to lead teams or manage complex project components
    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
