Associate Statistical Programmer

Position Summary: Join a team dedicated to a pharmaceutical client, progressing with sponsor-side programming activities. Conducts statistical analyses for client reports and publications, performs statistical programming outputs for practical application to further business operations, come across innovative findings and discoveries for solution and product development.

Work with clinical trial data to program SDTM and ADaM datasets, following CDISC guidelines. Program outputs associated with analysis datasets, tables, figures, listings, and regulatory submission data packages; and provides programming support for additional business needs such as safety reporting, patient data reviews, and risk mitigation.

Essential Functions:

• Create and/or validate safety and efficacy study output requirements (e.g. SDTM, ADaM, TLFs) consistent with data definitions and specifications and relevant study documentation (e.g. protocol, SAP, annotated CRF).
• May program the integration of databases from multiple studies or sources, under supervision.
• Develop programming documentation including specifications, as appropriate, under supervision.
• Provide advanced technical expertise in conjunction with internal and external clients, and bring project solutions to teams and department, under supervision.
• Develop, implement and validate new process technologies, macros and applications under supervision.
• Fulfill project responsibilities at the level of assisting the statistical team lead.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Pharmacy or related.
• 1-3 years of SAS programming with exposure to clinical trial data.
• Intermediate level knowledge of principles, theories, and concepts of a job area, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
• Knowledge of base SAS, proc report, exposure to macros, current CDISC data structures, and standardization methodology.
