Associate - StoneX Pro (FX Sales & Trading)

Job Description

Position Purpose: The FX Sales & Trading Associate will support our global foreign exchange & cryptocurrency business (StoneX PRO) by assisting both our trading teams and senior salespeople. This is an opportunity to learn about the foreign exchange and cryptocurrency business as part of a leading institutional dealer. Responsibilities will include:

• Interacting closely with all areas of our business, providing an excellent growth path in financial sales. You will have the opportunity to attend client meetings, learn about all aspects of the Foreign Exchange market, lead the setup process for new clients, and have significant exposure to the technology systems that drive the business.
• Attend in-person industry events. This may include travel within the US and abroad and will likely include London, New York, and Mexico City.
• Our expectation is that successful Associates will move into a full-time FX sales position within 1-2 years, potentially covering clients across the globe across foreign exchange and cryptocurrencies.
• Client Onboarding: This role will assume primary responsibility for managing the process of onboarding new client relationships. This critical function involves coordinating efforts across various StoneX teams including Compliance, Risk, Legal/Contracts, IT, and backoffice. Our goal is to provide an excellent initial experience for our clients by making the onboarding process simple, fast and efficient.
• Client service delivery: A critical part of this role will be serving as the primary point of contact handling inquiries from institutional FX clients relating to cash management, credit requests, and trading platform maintenance
• The Sales & Trading Associate will also support the trade desk as needed on special projects, reconciliation efforts, and marketing initiatives.

As one of the few non-bank U.S. Registered Swap Dealers and a globally recognized financial services firm, StoneX Markets, LLC, serves as a market-maker in all foreign exchange products, including spot, deliverable forwards, exchange-traded futures, swaps, options, NDF, and NDO, as well as a suite of exotics and structured products. Our team operates 24/6 with staff in Chicago, New York, Miami, London, Frankfurt, and Singapore.

Job Requirements:

• Bi-Lingual fluency in Spanish & English; additional language skills helpful but not required
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Competent and comfortable speaking with external clients to address their needs. Must be personable, outgoing, and able to interact seamlessly with diverse audiences across many regions and businesses.
• 1 to 2 years Experience in a similar corporate environment is desirable but not mandatory.
• Working knowledge Microsoft office programs and Salesforce a plus
• Proactive, self starter who can listen, identify the task at hand, and resolve complex situations
