POLITICO is looking for a high-impact associate, to build out a new international project management and strategy team based at our headquarters in Arlington, Virginia. This associate will help drive the integration and operational excellence between POLITICO and POLITICO EU, help manage and develop POLITICO's long-term strategy execution, and develop new business opportunities through partnerships, organic investments and M&A.

The ideal candidate will be a strong contributor who has excellent analytical, organization, and project management skills. This candidate must be able to build impactful relationships with executives and key stakeholders, while owning multiple projects in a fast-paced and global environment.

What You'll Do:

• Partner with the VP Strategy & Operations to establish and maintain processes that support transatlantic integrations between POLITICO's headquarters and POLITICO EU
• Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities and build business cases for growth opportunities across the portfolio - organic and inorganic
• Lead large company projects focused on organizational development, reorganization, corporate process definitions, integrations and more
• Drive rapid, accurate, and robust assessments of project progress and effectiveness, while adapting project scope and timelines when necessary
• Ensure that project goals are met while adhering to approved budgets

What You'll Need:

• 4 + years of experience in a consulting, investment banking, VC/PE, or digital and high-performance and analysis profession (e.g., product management)
• Exceptional project management, communication, and analytical skills
• Excellent proficiency in English, additional languages (especially French, German) are a plus
• Experience working on a cross-functional and global team preferred
• Experience with mergers and acquisitions preferred
• Strong financial modeling and presentation skills (MS Excel & MS Powerpoint)
• Background in politics and policy and/or media is a plus
