Job Description:

Associate Structural Engineer - Rail and Transit - Pasadena, California

Opportunity :

Our Parsons Pasadena office is now hiring for an Associate Structural Engineer to support multiple rail and transit projects in California and the Western USA. This is an entry level/junior engineer role open to new graduates, preferably with a Degree focus in Structural Engineering, or prior relevant internships in the field. The position offers hybrid working scenario ( allowing remote working from home 1-2 days per week). We also offer a 9/80 work schedule with every other Friday off.

Responsibilities :

• Performs conventional and moderately-complex engineering assignments, applying engineering techniques and analyses within a discipline.
  Will utilize structural analysis software packages typically associated with engineering.
  Performs Building Information Modelling using Revit, or similar software.
  Develops detailed calculations, drawings, procurement documents, design and installation
  packages, proposal evaluations, technical reports, and detailed analyses.
  Provides support for other engineering activities as required.
• Will support projects primarily for rail and transit stations system design

Requirements :

• A 4 year Bachelor's Degree in Civil/ Structural Engineering or a related field is required with 0-2 years of experience.
• Master's Degree in Civil/ Structural Engineering is desirable
• EIT preferred
• Any prior internship experience in the field is highly desriable.

Salary Range:

$24.18 - $42.31
