Supply Chain Finance, Associate - Support various facets of MUFG's Supply Chain Finance Group which is an integral component of MUFG's Working Capital Solutions initiative. The role will primarily support professionals withing in the Origination, Structuring, Asset Distribution teams and will gain a broad exposure to other areas of the business. The role will emphasize working in a dynamic team environment and is designed to develop our next generation professions who can help MUFG's Supply Chain business continue our growth trajectory.

Responsibilities:

Support the SCF business lines in specific day to day activities and projects.
  • Work closely with the origination team on client pitches, financial / working capital analysis, coordination with other business lines on deal execution.
  • Provide analysis needed for the structuring of new programs and/or the renewal of existing transactions.
  • Develop key relationships and create strong partnerships with the risk organization and other internal partners as deemed necessary
  • Provide support to the distribution team to maintain external bank relationships. Support inbound and outbound enquires. Support reporting and tracking of assets sold
  • Work with other SCF teams to fully understand our business and provide support to continue to build out our payables offering including working with the supplier acquisition and onboarding and program management teams, as needed.
  • Work closely with senior team members to support other special projects as deemed necessary from time to time.
Qualifications
  • Completion of a degree from a four-year college (e.g., B.A., B.S.)
  • 2 + years of relevant experience in banking
  • Excellent attention to details
  • Strong MS PowerPoint and advanced MS Excel skills
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to take charge, follow up, and simultaneously manage multiple activities concurrently.
  • Excellent interpersonal/communications capabilities with the ability to work in a multifaceted/diverse team environment.
  • Strong oral and written presentation skills and comfortable working at all levels internally and externally.
