This remote role is not tightly linked to a physical location and provides flexibility in where, when and how you accomplish your work.

Job Summary

This position is responsible for supporting product development by executing purchasing activity, developing and implementing commodity strategies or managing supply chain. This position is responsible for negotiation, contract management and change management while measuring quality, cost, and delivery performance of all suppliers. Will work as an interface between the supply management process and various process areas within manufacturing.

Job Responsibilities
  • Demonstrates a fundamental knowledge of Supply Management gained through education or past experience.
  • Utilizes Supply Management concepts and techniques to achieve/execute/support Developmental Purchasing, Indirect Procurement, Supply Chain, or Supply Base.
  • Uses existing Supply Management procedures and practices to solve standard problems, analyze information, achieve objectives, meet deadlines, make decisions with guidance and direction from more senior level roles.
  • Proactively supports to the Supply Management group by being accountable for their contributions in meeting the objectives.
  • Communicates effectively with stakeholders such as Product Development or Manufacturing through the exchange of information, asking questions and checking for understanding.
Education Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred
Experience Requirements

Required
  • Fundamental knowledge of Product Development and understanding of functions such as Developmental Purchasing, Indirect Procurement, Supply Base, or Supply Chain.
  • Willingness and skills to work effectively within a group and / or team.
Preferred
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Motorcycle riding experience and knowledge in Harley-Davidson motorcycles and accessories.

The pay range shown represents the national average pay range for this role. Your pay may be more or less than the stated range and is dependent on your geographic location and level of experience.
