Associate Support Specialist I
Job Description
The associate Services Specialist will open, prepare, and scan incoming mail documents. The specialist will also print and prepare outgoing mail ensuring efficient processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of tasks. We are looking for candidates that can deliver results with high quality and production standards. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, photocopiers, folder/inserter, and scanners. During downtime, other duties related to data entry and processing are required. Perform additional administrative duties when required to maintain the overall productivity of the organization.
Daily responsibilities need:
- Support personnel who manage incoming and outgoing mail for consumer reporting agency
- Sorting mail
- Scanning mail
- Printing letters
- Folding/inserting mail into envelops
- Preparing mail for pickup
- Tracking supplies
- Maintain performance standards to ensure accuracy and compliancy
- Suggest and document process and procedures
- Coordinate drop-off and pickup of incoming and outgoing mail
Required Skills:
- Good communication and organization skills
- Detail oriented to correctly sort, print, and distribute large amounts of mail
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions
- Ability to complete task in a timely manner
- Reliable
- Integrity to handle sensitive information in a professional and secure manner
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a related area preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at a time
- Must be able to traverse office facilities to pick up mail
