About the Role:

MVP is looking for a talented Associate Technical Project Manager to play a key role in the internal communication and tracking of data science and marketing projects. This role is focused on implementing processes and optimizing through automations to ensure that projects are organized, efficient and on-time.

The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator and time manager with a technical background and experience in a fast-paced, start-up environment. This role will work cross-functionally to manage projects for the Data Science and Marketing departments. This position requires someone willing to adapt to new technologies with a willingness to experiment, sometimes fail, and inevitably succeed. 

This is a fully remote position.

What You’ll Do:

• Setup and assign recurring projects for the Data Science and Marketing teams.
• Track project dates and deliverables to ensure deadlines are met.
• Prioritize deliverables to meet cross-functional needs.
• Schedule and lead project kickoff meetings, check-ins and department standups.
• Traffic final deliverables to internal stakeholders.
• Create and maintain an internal file saving system.
• Identify organizational process issues and optimize for greater efficiency.
• Create process workflows as the departments and company scales.

What We’d Like You To Have:

• 2 - 4 years of work experience as a project manager in a SaaS startup or agency environment.
• A technical background that comes with some experience working with software engineers and other product stakeholders such as designers and copywriters to be able to translate complex concepts into meaningful work actions including being able to set realistic timelines.
• Expertise with Asana, or equivalent project management software, as the tool to manage projects. Experience in Hubspot, Jira beneficial. 
• Strong attention to detail and constantly striving for excellence. You double-check everything.
• Self-starter, works independently and accomplishes tasks with minimal supervision. You don’t require hand-holding and you find the tools necessary to get things done.
• Exceptional communication skills, and the ability to work with all functional groups within the company.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, G-Suites, and technically savvy on other data systems.
• Enjoys working in a dynamic environment that enables creative problem solving with multiple competing deadlines.
• Always focused on doing what's right for the business. Have a willingness to take on the tough projects and challenges to support growth with a roll-up your sleeves attitude.

It’s A Plus If You Have:

• Experience in the sports or sponsorship industry, B2B or SaaS.
• PMP or Agile certification
