Associate Technical Skills Consultant

The Associate Technical Skills Consultant possesses an entry-level understanding of technologies, business operations, and skills development. The consultant, in partnership with senior consultants, assists Pluralsight business customers to achieve their skills development objectives by assessing corporate technology goals, providing support and assistance on skills plans/initiatives, and coordinating skills plan execution. This requires a proven ability to handle diverse and sometimes contending priorities, time sensitive tasks, communication, as well as solid attention to detail. In addition to the responsibilities related to their primary role, the Associate Technical Skills Consultant is expected to contribute to process improvement, and execution of services within Platform Value Services, as assigned.

- Participate throughout the Skill Strategy process which includes discovery sessions with our customers to understand business objectives and supports delivery by effectively completing assigned tasks
- Regularly engage with and support Pluralsight revenue teams via virtual meetings, collaborate with internal and cross functional teams, and support leadership decisions
- Serve as an input to internal teams to produce and maintain tools and other deliverables that deliver value to our customers improve team processes
- Work with your team to build scalable solutions and enhance existing services
- Provide support on the resources available through the Pluralsight Technology Learning Platform
- Experience providing entry-level consulting, in a technology, business systems analysis, or technical skills development capacity
- Ability to translate technical subjects or features into value-based conversations
- Proficiency to understand customer requests and deliver recommendations
- Self-starter who is able to manage time, prioritize, produce with autonomy, and communicate successfully
- Strong operational competence balanced by highly-effective interpersonal abilities.
- Previous Project Management experience often in an Agile environment
- Experience and/or a keen interest in a tech-related discipline (development, IT, data, security, cloud, etc.)
- Passion and experience working in STEM / STEAM skills development arenas
- Strategic, systems thinking with a proclivity to explore new ideas and push boundaries
- Seeks to understand where others are coming from without allowing your own context to get in the way
