What You'll Do
We are looking for a Solutions professional with experience working with health information or clinical data management systems. This position will become an expert in Clinical Pipe, Flatiron's EHR to EDC product. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the implementation, configuration, and support of the Clinical Pipe EHR to EDC SaaS product to support clinical trials. Attention to detail is required. This position reports into the Senior Manager, Technical Solutions. In addition, you'll also:

  • Implement Clinical Pipe on new Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
  • Configure Clinical Pipe to new protocols in Electronic Data Capture (EDC)
  • Map EHR data to electronic Case Report Forms (eCRFs) per study protocols
  • Perform product demos and pre-sales technical consulting
  • Assist in the onboarding of new customers
  • Provide second level product and technical support
  • Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering on the development of new product features


This position will interact with other operating and staff groups within the organization including, but not limited to Product Management, Engineering and Commercial.
Who You Are
You're a kind, passionate and collaborative problem-solver who values the opportunity to think beyond the way things are. You're resourceful, technical, and passionate about clinical data. You're excited by the prospect of rolling up your sleeves to tackle meaningful problems each and every day and have at least 2 years of industry experience working in clinical technologies or data management. In addition you also:

  • At least 2 years of experience in Medical Coding, Solutions Architecture, Informatics, or Clinical Data Management
  • Experience with the following:
    • Data exchange formats such as JSON and XML
    • REST APIs
    • Clinical terminologies such as LOINC and SNOMED CT
  • Familiarity with healthcare or clinical research data
  • Self-learner, with strong technical aptitude and curiosity
  • Ability to multi-task and flexibility to accommodate changing priorities
  • Customer service oriented
  • High accountability and ownership
  • BA/BS degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Strong communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills

Extra Credit

  • Client facing experience in the software configuration or data management space
  • Experience with any of the following:
    • HL7 standards, especially SMART on FHIR
    • CDISC standards such as SDTM and ODM
    • Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems
    • Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
  • Education or experience in Health IT/Informatics

Job Compensation Range
Salary Range: $108,000.00 - $162,000.00

Preferred Primary Location: NYC Headquarters
The annual pay range reflected above for this position is based on the preferred primary location of the role which is listed in the job description. Salary ranges for other locations vary from the range reflected above. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. An annual bonus and equity may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
