We are the Translational Immunology team, and we are looking for a hardworking associate with experience in clinical trials and sample management to join our team. Our mission is to identify mechanism-relevant pharmacodynamic biomarkers for assets in Lilly's immunology pipeline and develop drug tailoring hypotheses in various autoimmune diseases that can be assessed in clinical trials. The identification of clinical trial samples and verification of patient informed consent will facilitate our utilization of samples for biomarker research. The position offers an outstanding opportunity to impact the tailoring of Lilly's autoimmune therapies to the most suitable patients based on novel biomarkers. You will be a key resource to help drive our research, helping our scientists work more efficiently as well as proactively looking for ways to improve the sample management process.

Responsibilities
- Manage the inventory at the compound level of stored Immunology clinical trial samples located at Lilly's preferred storage vendors
- Search for stored samples based on sample criteria provided by the Lilly Scientist
- Work with clinical teams to locate, translate, and review country level informed consent forms (ICF) and protocols to ensure stored samples are used as defined in the protocol and ICF.
- Populate research proposals for the use of stored samples and facilitate acquiring signatures
- Track the use of clinical trial samples at clinical research organizations (CRO)and in-house testing at Lilly
- Oversight of healthy control (HC) inventory and ordering of additional HC samples
- Use XLIMS to monitor clinical sample stored in Lilly's Translational Immunology laboratory
- Initiate contracts with CROs for outsourced biomarker research
- Maintain Immunology SharePoint site
Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent and 5 years of experience in supporting clinical research or closely related area or
- Bachelor's degree with at least 3 years of applicable experience in supporting clinical research or closely related area.
Additional Skills/Preferences
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage across geographies and cultures.
- Demonstrated skill and experience in handling alliances with outside partners (for example CROs)
- Excellent relational skills and team spirit
- High proficiency in written and spoken English communication skills
