Associate, Treasury & Finance Strategic Initiatives
Job Description
The F&A team comprises multiple functions from Financials Control & Business Performance Management, Procurement, Digital Transformation, Tax, Treasury and Operations. Together, the team optimizes our global finance initiatives and enjoys being detailed-oriented while multitasking across various exciting project scopes
Responsibilities:
- Keep a fresh mind & learn something new every day. Be sensitive to any new changes in the market, be fast in reacting & responding to all new changes.
- Assess the impacts of new initiatives on Finance team in multiple aspects (i.e. financial reporting, treasury, tax, digital transformation, reconciliation).
- Communicate internal stakeholders’ requirements to external teams and unblock launch dependencies.
- Engage in end-to-end product cycles; from product launch, product control, product performance tracking, to product retirement, with cross-functional teams.
- Track and/or present project status and updates. Spot out potential risks to Finance team and provide solutions to eliminate/minimise the risks. To proactively resolve project issues.
- Coordinate with the internal and external parties to manage day-to-day duties of new projects.
- Assist in ad hoc tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- Ability to collaborate and communicate (verbal and written) well with people at all levels.
- A good problem solver.
- Able to demonstrate basic data analytical skill and programming experiences.
- Capable to work in a challenging, fast-paced team-oriented environment.
- Proficient in Python, SQL, Tableau, VBA, Excel formula is a plus
- Experience in financial reporting is a plus
- The habit of paying painstaking attention to details, correct data and following procedures meticulously
