DoubleDown's Player Engagement team is looking for an engaging content creator with excellent judgment. Reporting to the Manager, Product Marketing , you will be working cross functionally and have the opportunity to learn all channel aspects of marketing communications for both paid and free channels. You will get to work in several of our apps both in and out of the product!

Your XP , Badges and Skill Tree

• BA in English, writing, or equivalent experience
• Excellent writing and editing skills
• Strong communication skills
• Passion for the English language; simultaneously respect the limits and relish the flexibility
• The capacity to handle multiple projects at once and deal with rapidly-changing priorities
• The drive to help create an exceptional customer experience
• Independent, creative problem-solving
• Impeccable judgment and the backbone to disagree when customer experience is at risk
• Please include writing samples (no genre or style requirements--send us something you're proud of ! )

Other Superpower s and Abilities

• 1- 2 years of experience writing professionally, bonus for work in marketing or games

• Experience with the following software/tools:
  • Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), JIRA, Google suite (Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets), Slack
• Creative, adaptable, and collaborative spirit. Bonus points for producing plentiful puns (and appreciating alliteration!)

Your Mission

• Create copy for sales campaigns, including advertising, social media, mobile notifications, and outbound email
• Create copy for promotional campaigns, including advertising, social media, mobile notifications, and outbound email
• Create Appstore copy for multiple apps, including updates

New Adventures
In this role, you will create Marketing copy, in addition to Customer Support content as needed. You will craft Marketing copy to entice and engage players, expressing the unique and exciting attributes of our products in multiple formats with varying parameters. You will brainstorm Marketing campaigns and concepts.
