What You'll Do

As an Asst Client Transition Specialist in our Retiree Services Group, your day will be filled with:

  • Administering the member data installation process, setting up records and processing retirements to ensure first payments are made on time.
  • Handling large sets of member data.
  • Serving as the liaison between the Transition Specialists and other departments.
  • Completing appropriate data scrubs and implementation of each case in an accurate and timely fashion.
  • Troubleshooting and solving problems in a tactful manner and effectively handling difficult or sensitive situations.
  • Reviewing the contract specifications and assumptions ensuring they match the pension plan and complying with government regulations.
  • Providing high quality service and proactively maintaining positive relationships with customers.
  • Assisting with training new transition employees and with modifying procedures and systems where changes are needed.
  • Performing other job-related duties or special projects as required.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, and 2+ years of related experience
  • Knowledge of defined benefits preferred
  • Must have strong organizational and communication skills
  • Strong consultation, collaboration, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Advanced PC and MS Office Excel experience.
  • Ability to balance working independently with working in a team environment.

Salary Range Information

Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.

Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly)

$20.84 - $39.81 / hour

Time Off Program

Personal Time Off (PTO) is provided to hourly (non-exempt) employees and provides a set amount of accrued time earned each pay period. Employees can use their PTO for vacation, personal or short-term illness.

Work Environments

This role offers in-office, hybrid (blending at least three office days in a typical workweek), and remote work arrangements. You'll work with your leader to figure out which option may align best based on several factors.
