Athletics Marketing Assistant

Job Description:
The Athletics Marketing Assistant will assist the Athletics Marketing Department in executing a variety of game day tasks surrounding the experience for both spectators and players. Major tasks include:
β Assist with specific game day preparation
β Coordinate and execute in-game promotions (selecting contestants, bringing them on field/court/etc.)
β Set up and take down equipment
β Interact with fans in a friendly manner
β Be knowledgeable about the event taking place
β Assist with handling Bruno, the mascot, when necessary
Qualifications
β Previous experience in a fast-paced environment
β Willingness to learn the basic rules of sporting events
β Strong communication and interpersonal skills
β Possess a willingness and ability to support a diverse and inclusive environment
β Weekday afternoon/evening & weekend availability
β A team-oriented mindset
β A desire to learn
