We are looking for an experienced Atlassian Architect to oversee our Atlassian Delivery Practice, leading a team of skilled Atlassian professionals to deliver high-quality solutions for our clients. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, team leadership, and project delivery experience, ensuring the successful implementation, optimization, and management of Atlassian tools to drive client success.

What you will do:

Leadership & Team Management:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Atlassian consultants, administrators, and developers.
• Foster a collaborative team environment, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and client needs.
• Evaluate team performance, provide feedback, and support individual career development plans.

Project Delivery:

• Plan, execute, and oversee multiple Atlassian solution delivery projects across diverse clients.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meeting quality standards.
• Act as the primary escalation point for project issues, resolving challenges promptly.

Client Engagement:

• Collaborate with clients to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Provide strategic recommendations for leveraging Atlassian tools to enhance productivity and processes.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor.

Solution Architecture & Technical Oversight:

• Design and estimate solutions for Atlassian products and platforms such as JIRA, Confluence etc.
• Oversee the design, configuration, and implementation of Atlassian tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with industry best practices.
• Guide the integration of Atlassian tools with other enterprise systems.

Practice Development:

• Define and enhance delivery methodologies, frameworks, and tools to improve efficiency and client satisfaction.
• Stay updated on Atlassian product developments, trends, and best practices to guide the team.
• Drive innovation within the delivery practice, recommending new tools or techniques to enhance services.

Governance & Reporting:

• Develop and enforce governance frameworks for consistent delivery of Atlassian solutions.
• Monitor project progress, team performance, and financial metrics, reporting outcomes to senior management.

Qualifications and Skills:

• 13+ years of Atlassian software planning, design, and implementation
• 7+ years of managerial experience (hiring, leading, managing, coaching, and mentoring resources) 
• Proven experience leading delivery teams in consulting or professional services.
• Strong knowledge of Agile and DevOps principles, with practical experience implementing these methodologies.
• Hands-on expertise in Atlassian tool administration, customization, and integration.
• Solid understanding of scripting and automation (e.g., Groovy, REST APIs, or equivalent).
• Exceptional leadership and people management abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Atlassian Marketplace apps like ScriptRunner, Insight, and Jira Align.
• Background in enterprise architecture frameworks and principles.
• Experience in migrating Atlassian tools between on-premises and cloud environments.
• Strong client-facing skills, with experience in requirement gathering and solution presentation.

Education and Certifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Atlassian Certified Professional (ACP) credentials in Jira Administration, Agile Development, or DevOps.
