We are looking for a Jira Align Architect to join the Praecipio team who specializes in designing and architecting solutions using the Jira Align platform to support enterprise agile best practices. They play a crucial role in ensuring that Jira Align is implemented and configured in a way that aligns with the organization's strategic goals and allows scalability.  

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Lead client engagements and project delivery
• Design and architect Jira Align solutions that meet clients organizational and agile needs
• Drive excellent technical implementation of Jira Align and supporting tooling
• Adhere to Jira Align best practices and leverage Agile best practices where possible
• Document and share deliverables to client and internal stakeholders
• Attending all meetings and documenting outcomes
• Understanding and adhering to project timelines
• Voicing delivery risks and providing solutions
• Create key documentation adhering to Praecipio standards
• Partner with other teammates and teams to ensure a high quality deliverable
• Foster teamwork through excellent communication and collaboration

Requirements for Success

Technical Proficiency

• Expertise in designing scalable solutions for Jira Align in large, complex organizations, and implementing performance optimizations to ensure efficient and reliable platform operation.
• Experience in architecting the overall structure and configuration of Jira Align to ensure scalability, performance, and integration requirements are met.
• Experience in developing integration strategies to connect Jira Align with other tools and systems within the organization's technology ecosystem, such as Jira Software and other non-Atlassian products as needed 

Consulting Experience

• Active Listening is essential, including the ability to understand client needs, gather requirements, and translate them into effective solutions using Atlassian tools. 
• This involves verbal and written effective communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management throughout the project lifecycle.
• Adaptability and customer orientation during times of change

Problem Solving and Critical Thinking

• Collaborate with business leaders, agile teams, and IT teams to understand organizational goals and design effective Jira Align solutions.
• Leverage data to identify trends and improve process

Leadership

• Ability to lead and influence others with various levels of experience
• Provide expertise in community of practice

Basic Qualifications 

• Minimum seven years of technical proficiency with Atlassian, Jira (JWS, JSM, JWM, JPD)
• Scaled Agile SAFe Practice Consultants (SPCs) certification
• Minimum five year of customer facing consulting experience with an Atlassian product(s)
• Minimum of one year experience with Jira Align in an Architect role
• Open to travel up to 25% per quarter to client sites

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in Jira Align:
• Atlassian Agile at Scale Technical Sales Professional
• Atlassian Agile at Scale Sales Professional

Benefits

Salary

$120,000 + USD  base salary depending on location and experience

Remote in the US, Mexico and Canada
