We are looking for an experienced Atlassian Product Owner to help guide our Jira and Confluence solutions for better business impact. This individual will help the business translate its high level business requirements to thoughtful and scalable architecture in its Atlassian and integrated solutions. They will work closely with IT’s team of program managers, engineers, business analysts, product owners and business leadership to build a roadmap for our Atlassian Products. They will prioritize incoming requests for administrative execution and partner with our Business Stakeholders to modify our environments as needed.
 

As an Atlassian Product Owner, you will:

• Manage the Atlassian vendor relationship, application solutions, and business stakeholders 

• Utilize strong data analytics skills to evaluate our Atlassian environments to result in constant improvements in usage and reporting for the business

• Assists in complex administration tasks and maintenance including workflows, fields, templating, and schemes

• Responsible for prioritizing incoming issues, working with the vendor to launch new modules, assisting business stakeholders and the routine maintenance of the solution

• Ensures appropriate training and enablement materials are provided to support solutions

• Integrates Jira with other tools and systems used within the agency to facilitate strategic business solutions

We are excited if you have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience

• 2+ Years experience managing Atlassian products including Jira and Confluence 

• 7+ Years experience in system administration, program and or product management

• In-depth knowledge of Jira configuration, administration, and customization

• Strong understanding of agile and project management methodologies and best practices

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• Ability to train and support users effectively, including content creation and presentation

• Demonstrated success with solution architecture and execution

You may also have experience in: 

• IT solution integrations 

• Confluence environment management

• Jira Data Center to Cloud transitions
