Attendee Acquisition Coordinator

Responsible for assisting in the development and maintaining of business relationships with high value attendees and key buyers for the floral, kosher and commercial marine markets. The ideal candidate will build and maintain strong reciprocal relationships with key audience groups ultimately turning buyers into brand advocates via clear continuing communication of value propositions as well as pre-during and post event support. The role requires the ability to plan, prioritize and organize workloads, while keeping abreast of current market trends and industry news. Active collaboration with the entire team is essential and weekly reporting on important attendee acquisitions with sales and marketing teams will be key to supporting sales efforts.

Key Responsibilities will include:

• Year-round prospecting, updating and organization of buyer data
• Proactive documented outreach to both new and existing buyer prospects via multiple touchpoint (email, phone, LinkedIn)
• Development of strong relationships with key buyer accounts
• Clear and consistent reporting on attendee acquisition overall status and timely communication of big "wins" to larger team
• Continued commitment to market research and a genuine understanding of industry trends and news
• Communication with customers by phone or email to answer inquiries and obtain missing information.
• Provide superior customer service and maintain strong business relationships with customers.
• Actively collaborate with marketing and sales and editorial teams.

Knowledge: Previous sales, marketing or sales admin experience, Business, Communication, or Management Degree and related work experience.

Skills: Competency in use of customer sales management systems and business-related applications and software, MS Office proficiency, Salesforce

Abilities: Sales prospecting and qualifying, effective relationship building and management, knowledge of marketing tools, strong organizational abilities and time management. Ability to set and achieve goals and stay self-motivated

Travel will be required.
