Attendee Acquisition Specialist
Job Description
This role is responsible for attendee sales for three annual clean energy conferences. Major responsibilities include nurturing and developing relationships with energy professionals from our key audience.
Essential Functions/Key Responsibilities:
- Research new prospects using communication channels such as telemarketing, social media, email, etc.
- Outreach and prospecting and attendee sales of new attendees for two Net Zero Forum events and one Renewable Energy Forum event per year
- Provide sales team with qualified hosted buyer leads
- Assist with development and implementation of tactics to increase verification rate
- Responsible for list development along with data integrity (data cleaning and entry)
- Provide exceptional customer service to new and existing buyersbefore, during and after the event
- Strategic list development in conjunction with team (areas of focus to be developed in conjunction with sales and marketing leads)
Skills: Must be proficient in Salesforce CRM, MS Office & LinkedIn Navigator, etc. Superior verbal and written communication skills.
Abilities: Must excel at phone communications, data management, customer service, multi-tasking and ability to perform within a high-energy, fast-paced team. Ability to work independently and be self-driven, and ability to perform in a team environment. Maintain continuity between long-term strategic goals and short-term operating plans of the group. Utilizes knowledge of the qualities of strong customer service.
Knowledge:
- Strong communication skills and time management skills required.
- Ability to work independently and be self-driven, but also perform in a team environment
- Ability to organize projects, maintain consistent follow-up, identify sales opportunities, accurately track and report sales.
- Must be able to handle large call volume and meet sales goals.
- Ability to deliver excellent customer service to customers
