Job Description

A qualified Attendee Experience Manager candidate will have experience managing a team with a minimum of six members, an excellent foundation of Cvent, and registration management (attrition management, rooming list management, attendee/registration management, contract negotiation and execution). If you love to present to and work with clients as well as a team of eager coordinators, this would be a great opportunity for you. It’s also a plus if you have strong skills in Excel with an ability to build and manage budgets and perform program reconciliations as needed. Our coordinators also need a hands-on and well thought out training, so experience and passion for training is a must. This is a leadership position, so we are looking for someone with proven leadership qualities that does not settle for the status quo and is always looking to expand their education around leadership skills while striving for excellence for their team. They should be extremely self-motivated, driven, committed, and a dedicated team player with a desire to provide outstanding customer service to our clients and their attendees. 

Successful candidates will have the following: 

  • Understanding of hotel contracts, clauses, concessions, and addendums
  • Proficient in Cvent
  • Database management
  • Ability to grow and train the attendee management coordinators
  • A/D manifest management experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Superb proofreading skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with high focus on Excel

Communication Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills including effective listening
  • Excellent presentation skills in one-on-one and small group situations involving clients and associates

Leadership Abilities

  • Self-motivated with strong time management skills and demonstrated ability to set goals and achieve priorities
  • It is imperative you can manage multiple tasks simultaneously; function well under pressure, delegate effectively, and remain positive and constructive under stress
  • Ability to create and oversee training and implement operational process initiatives

What you would be doing at Unbridled: 

  • Accountable for the entire attendee experience department
  • Create and update budgets and contracts for registration only clients
  • Create and update project timelines
  • Manage attendee experience team schedules 
  • Evaluate client needs and translate to best outcome for registration and reporting needs
  • Test and proof all event sites
  • Financial management responsibilities
  • Provide detailed reporting, data and metrics as required by client
  • Ensure client and Unbridled brand compliance in all websites and communications
  • Maintain Unbridled Solutions attendee management best practices and training manual
  • Train and support Coordinators in updating Cvent, reporting, manifests, rooming list, attrition, hotel concessions, post program surveys, how to manage an on-site registration desk, how to field attendee inquiries, and how to present to clients
  • Support Sales Managers in client presentation of Attendee Management Services to include functionality, website options, reporting capabilities
  • Limited travel on client-specific events to manage onsite registration, reporting, and client presentations
