Job Summary
Enterprise Information Services is responsible for Aerospace's classified and unclassified enterprise IT environment. As Audio Visual Application Administrator, you will oversee all phases of implementing enterprise-wide network audio and video solutions. You will establish requirements, perform trade-off analyses between alternatives, and implement state-of-the-art audio-visual solutions.
Work Model
This position will be a hybrid work model and offer partially remote with some onsite work required inEl Segundo, CA (California) or Chantilly, VA (Virginia).
What You'll Be Doing
  • Leading and supporting audio-visual projects and initiatives
  • Providing technical leadership for corporate audio-visual services
  • Establishing and maintaining AV network analysis and monitoring tools; including fine tuning, health monitoring, and alerting
  • Optimizing stability, availability, reliability, and performance of audio-visual services
  • Coordinating and communicating with other teams for infrastructure changes and customer/client notifications
  • Providing technical guidance to project teams around the company, as appropriate
  • Tracking industry trends, conducting research, evaluating technical solutions, and maintaining knowledge of new technologies
  • Planning and implementing new AV features and services
  • Creating and maintaining documentation for audio/video systems and procedures
  • Maintaining inventory and process management

What You Need to be Successful
Minimum Requirements for the Application Administrator Staff II:
  • 3 or more years relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology or Information Security, or 7 or more years of relevant experience with a High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to troubleshoot audiovisual systems and equipment
  • Good understanding of matrix switching, audio/video hardware video processing, and audio/video signal flow
  • Ability to design and commission AV systems
  • Experience using CAD or Visio in the creation of proper schematics and drawings
  • Knowledge and understanding of advanced networking topology and Active Directory
  • Knowledge of VMware vSphere systems, ESXi, Microsoft Server 2012 and above
  • Proficient with streaming technologies on Apple Mac and Microsoft Windows 10/11 hardware
  • Proficient with broadcasting technologies
  • Ability to work with vendors and aid in final commissioning of systems
  • Ability to manage large "Live events"
  • Ability to individually contribute and work well in a team environment
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision, to self-initiate activities, and to manage and meet deadlines
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and projects
  • Demonstrated flexibility and ability to adapt to changing needs
  • Dedicated to providing exceptional customer service
  • Ability to travel to support projects in other Aerospace locations
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance

Minimum Requirements for the Application Administrator Staff III:
  • Meets the requirements for an Application Admin Staff II
  • 5 or more years of experience with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology or Information Security
  • Experience leading teams and mentoring other team members

How You Can Stand Out
It would be impressive if you have one or more of these:
  • Familiarity with Crestron programming or desire to learn
  • Familiarity with Cisco telepresence bridging, gateway, gatekeeper, and call control infrastructure
  • Familiarity of enterprise collaboration solutions (Cisco CMS, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Webex)
  • Familiarity in supporting scheduling systems and digital signage systems
  • Detail oriented approach and able to prioritize tasks and projects
  • Project Management experience
  • Current TS/SCI clearance

We offer a competitive compensation package where you'll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to our business. The grade-based pay range for this job is listed below. Individual salaries within that range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skills.

$85,000 - $112,500 - $140,000
