Job Description

Position Summary

As an Audit & Assurance Products and Solutions ("AAPS") Senior Analyst, you will provide operational management and oversight activities within the pillar to help drive the implementation of the Deloitte Audit Strategy. You will report to and work alongside the respective pillar leader and the organization Chief of Staff to manage daily operational activities including but not limited to financial oversight, progress reporting, information management, and meeting development & execution. As part of the AAPS team, you will benefit from exposure to audit leadership as they work to support the technology organization of the audit of the future. Additionally, you will develop significant skills related to the application of Agile methodology and principles that can be applied to various forms of projects.

Work You'll Do

Sample responsibilities may include:

• Manage and monitor budget, actuals, and ETCs for the pillar

• Organize and manage strategic planning sessions for pillar activities, which include preparation, facilitation, and follow-up

• Leverage overall knowledge of the pillar and the associated activities that drive Audit Process Delivery Flow to develop and maintain over project plan

• Build and create a repository of common processes, templates, and best practices to be implemented within the pillar

• Provide visibility on project timelines and status to leadership in a common and consistent manner

• Track metrics on the state of project management, project delivery, and the value being provided to the business

• Organize & manage strategy, status, and All Hands meetings for the pillar

Crucial to your work will be effective verbal and written communication skills; leadership skills demonstrating strong judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities; and the ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments in a dynamic and team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Statistics, Business Analytics, Math, Economics, Industrial & Operations Engineering, Computer Engineering, Decision Sciences or Data Sciences, or related field with relevant coursework

• Travel up to 30% may be required

Preferred:

  • Master's degree in Management Information Systems, Statistics, Business Analytics, Math, Economics, Industrial & Operations Engineering, Computer Engineering, Decision Sciences or Data Sciences, or related field with relevant coursework
  • Strong academic record, minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven leadership skills demonstrating strong judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Proven experience working independently and managing multiple assignments in a dynamic environment

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $69,400 to $142,600.
