About the Job
Technology audits make up nearly half of our internal audit plan. As Audit Manager, Technology, you will be responsible for conducting internal audits of complex technology areas on behalf of the Chief Audit Executive. This includes preparing audit scope documents, audit work papers and draft audit reports on all technology domains (information security, infrastructure, changement, etc.). The primary role will be to execute internal audits, perform pre-implementation reviews and special projects work where needed.Â
The candidate will play a key role in developing and managing relationships within technology across all levels of employee through executive management. This position will include global coverage responsibilities of internal audits too.
What You’ll Do
- Engage with process owners to stay informed of changes and new initiatives within the business and technology areas and sharing audit perspectives relating to risk identification and mitigation
- Perform technology enterprise-wide risk assessments under the oversight of the Chief Audit Executive; including areas of focus for internal audit
- Exhibit technical strength and expertise as it relates to key technological growth, such as:
- Cybersecurity
- Infrastructure
- Cloud
- Automation processes
- Lead complex technology internal audits according to the audit plan
- Execute all aspects of the audit timely from the scoping, planning, fieldwork, and reporting in accordance with IIA standards; this includes issue discussions with senior level management
- Contribute to pre-implementation assessments of technology projects and preparing management and board documents to highlight work performed
- Assess technology control design; current state and gap analysis
- Assess design and operating effectiveness of policy and procedure documentation
- Assist in the preparation of reports for senior management, the Audit Committee, the Risk Committee and the Board of Directors
What You Bring to the Table
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant disciplineÂ
- 8+ years of internal or public accounting IT audit experience with demonstrated knowledge in a specific technology field
- Strong communication skills and the ability to conduct meetings with senior management
- Strong analytical skillsÂ
- A self-starter, adept at working independently in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented team environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced degree a plus in the disciplines of Computer Information Systems or Information Technology with a Security or Networking focus is preferred
- Recognized accounting/auditing/information systems certifications preferred (e.g. CPA , CIA, CISA or CISSP)
- Knowledge and experience in performing audits of technology projects and programs (ex. SDLC, Agile) a plus
- Strong knowledge of relevant technology standards such as COBIT, ISO 27001, NIST Framework, SOC 1 and 2 preferred
- Comprehensive understanding and experience of internal controls within the IT function a plus
- Demonstrated Technical skills in multiple technology domains including software development, database management, networking, cloud control and information security preferred
- Cloud or emerging technology certification preferred
- Experience preferred within the financial industry, with Capital Markets or FinTech experience preferred

For job positions in NYC, NY, and other locations where required, the estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $135,000 USD to $180,000 USD. Actual salary may vary depending on job-related factors, which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. You may also be eligible for annual cash incentives, equity, and other benefit programs.
