Job Description:
In your position as Manager, you will provide financial audit and support services to improve the accuracy, reliability, timeliness, and internal control environment of the AMC Army Working Capital Funds (AWCF) with the ultimate goal of enabling processes and systems capable of successful attestation and audit. Additionally, you will develop and implement solutions to ensure end-to-end business processes contain reliable internal controls to support accurate financial statement reporting. You will also develop, monitor, and validate corrective action plans to remediate material weaknesses and deficiencies linked to AMC business processes. You will also provide education and training to the AMC workforce to ensure the sustainability of achieving an audit opinion. You will also support:
- Audit Liaison and Infrastructure
- Audit Support, Strategy, Prioritization, and Stakeholder Engagement
- Reconciliation data for the AWCF’s Universe of Transactions
- Information Technology (applicable to financially relevant IT systems)
- Inventory and General Property Plant & Equipment
- Financial Policy & Standardized Business Processes
- Audit Remediation
- AMC Accounting and Financial Reporting Operations
- Posting Logic
- AMC Financial Reporting
- Service Organization Controls Reporting
- Risk Management Internal Controls (RMIC)
- Educate and Train
- Change Management and Communication
Required Skills:
- Secret Clearance required
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum 6 years experience in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Logistics, DATA/IT, Audit or Business Management (CPA or CISA may substitute for 1 year of experience)
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
Desired Skills:
- Prior Working Capital Fund experience and DoD experience
