Your Impact:Â As a Senior Workers' Comp Claims Examiner at our dynamic and rapidly expanding company, your impact will be pivotal in driving the efficient handling of complex workers' compensation claims. Your seasoned expertise will empower our team to navigate intricate claims processes, ensuring timely resolution while upholding regulatory compliance. By leveraging your depth of knowledge, you'll play a key role in enhancing operational excellence, refining claims strategies, and fostering collaborative relationships with stakeholders. Your contributions will directly influence the company's growth trajectory, reinforcing our commitment to innovation and customer-centric solutions within the insurance landscape.
Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze workers’ compensation claims, applying your knowledge and experience to advise on the best course of action.
- Collaborate with our AI development team to train and refine our expert AI software, guiding it towards making optimal claim decisions.
- Utilize specialized tools to examine claims and provide recommendations on the actions to be taken.
- Help educate the AI system in recognizing nuances and complexities of workers’ compensation claims.
- Help ensure the AI software adheres to the highest standards of accuracy, efficiency, and ethical considerations.
- Stay abreast of the latest developments in workers’ compensation regulations and guidelines to ensure compliance and relevance in training the AI.
Required Experience:
- 15-20 plus years as a workers' compensation claims examiner within a top 100 US Carrier or a TPA.
- The ability to work within Google Sheets to complete proper labeling and share relevant notes.
- Must be able to dedicate anywhere from 20-25 hours a week to the role. EIQ can offer very flexible hours.Â
- Act as a Workers' Comp Subject Matter Expert (SME) to our executive team.Â
- Proficiency in using various software and technology tools for claims management. Working knowledge of Guidewire solutions is a plus.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with an ability to interpret complex claim details.
Compensation & Perks:Â This is a long term contract role with an expectation of working hours to flux between 20-25 a week. Hours may increase depending on the needs of the business. The target hourly pay rate is $47/hr with flexibility.Â
