Autobody Finisher

Creative Works is seeking an Autobody Finisher. This position will operate within our Finishing Department to help in getting props for escape rooms, laser tags, and golf attractions painted and then moved on to post-fabrication. This role will specifically focus on the finish of white light props that mainly exist within our escape rooms. 

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces of props by using body fillers and abrasives
• Mixing blends of paints with both the Matthews system and our Wildfire blacklight paints
• Must be familiar with airbrushes as well as other various tools and methods.
• Buffing finished paintwork on props
• Disassemble, clean, and reassemble sprayers, using solvents, wire brushes, and cloths for cleaning duties
• Can work with large-scale pieces that require thought and ingenuity to paint.
• Adhering to company standards of quality and culture
• Work alongside other artists to help with general carpentry and production needs-- “Jack of all trades” mentality
• Clear, respectful communication with team members
• Maintain a clean workspace

Qualification Requirements:

• A clean criminal background
• Valid driver’s license
• Lift and carry 50lbs 
• Stand and walk for sustained periods of time, bend, reach, push, and pull
• Climb stairs and ladders
• Windows OS

Relatable Job Experience

• Prior experience in vehicle paint process.
• Artistry
• Scenic Designer
• Prop Designer
• Muralist
• I-CAR certifications

Pay and Benefits:

• Full-Time, Non-Exempt
• 06:30 AM - 05:00 PM, Monday - Thursday, possible overtime Friday
