The Commercial Operation Automation Architect (COA) will leverage their technical and leadership skills to provide technical oversight and support Commercial Operations projects in ensuring tools, development efforts, and production are following Dentsply Sirona standards, compliance & security policies and best practices.

With strong technical, analytical and leadership skills, the Automation Architect will collaborate and consult with cross-functional teams including Product Owners, and Business users, and Infrastructure, to deliver high quality automation solutions.

Key job responsibilities:

  • Designing and developing automation solutions using Alterynx, Azure tools and technologies.
  • Design, develop and support application using .Net MVC and React.
  • Build high quality data architecture and data pipelines using Azure and Databricks.
  • Develop and maintain secure architecture standards and automation systems standards.
  • Maintain and upgrade Azure servers and develop monitoring systems, tools, and procedures.
  • Conducting feasibility assessments and proof of concepts to evaluate the technical and business viability of automation initiatives.
  • Developing technical architecture and solution design documents that detail the Azure solutions components, interfaces, data flow, and security requirements.
  • Establishing and maintaining best practices and standards for development, testing, and deployment.
  • Follow change management standards to ensure compliance with best practices.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or as may be necessary

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited college or technical school; 5 to 7 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Certifications/Licensing:

  • Azure certification such as Azure Solutions Architect or related are a plus

Years and Type of Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience of working experience in Automation or architecture and developing automations, including the collection and assessment of business process requirements.

Key Required Skills, Knowledge and Capabilities:

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years (in previous sections 5-7 is listed and this is 8, should be consistent on experience requirement. of professional or military experience.
  • Experience working in Azure environment and familiar with Azure Data Lake, Data Factory and Databricks.
  • Experience with .Net MVC, React, Python, PowerShell or other programming languages.
  • Experience working in Alterynx.
  • Experience with infrastructure automation development methodologies such as code repositories (Azure DevOps), version control (Git), automated testing and incremental changes/continuous integration
  • Experience in Event-driven architectures

The base salary and variable compensation for this remote role is between $100,000 and $120,000. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.
