Automation Engineer

About the Role:  

As an Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing automated solutions using technologies such as Playwright framework.  Your role will involve collaborating closely with cross functional teams to identify areas of automation, solution, and drive the executions of automation initiatives.  

Specific responsibilities:

• Maintain existing suite of tests, develop new test cases, and implement as part of the manual and automated test executions
• Troubleshoot and debug issues with test automation scripts
• Develop test plans for new automation releases as necessary
• Run automated smoke and regression tests, troubleshoot and report failed tests
• Setup integrations into our CI/CD Pipeline
• Collaborate with Engineering, IT, and Product team to understand technical implementations and scope of new features
• Experience automating APIs (e.g. JMeter, Postman, Rest Assured)
• Communicate defects and verify fixes within each sprint
• Stay up to date with new testing methodologies, tools, and technologies
• Develop and track QA Metrics, communicate to stakeholders

What you’ll need:

• Minimum of 4+ years experience in automation
• Extensive hands on experience developing and maintaining automated tests using Playwright framework
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, TypeScript, or JavaScript
• Experience in all phases of STLC
• Experience with using Bitbucket, Jira, and Xray
• Strong attention to detail
• Work independently with little supervision
• Analytical with a problem solving approach
• Familiar with Salesforce Commerce Cloud and Salesforce Order Management

Compensation:

Compensation: $85,000 - $110,000

Discretionary Annual Bonus Eligibility: Up to 10%
