How YOU will make a Difference: As a Business Process Automation Engineer at HMA, you'll be part of the IT team and work closely with team members on a number of exciting projects and programs that will have a positive impact on HMA's business.

Compensation:
The base salary range for this position in the greater Seattle area is $138,163-$182,596 p/yr and varies dependent on geography, skills, experience, education, and other job or market-related factors. Performance-based incentive bonus(es) is available. How YOU will make a Difference: As a Business Process Automation Engineer at HMA, you'll be part of the IT team and work closely with team members on a number of exciting projects and programs that will have a positive impact on HMA's business.
What YOU will do:
- Identify, analyze, design, develop and configure simple, medium to complex process automations per business process and requirements documentation.
- Schedule, run and monitor processes to ensure stability and productivity of solution
- Performs daily administration tasks within the automation software production environment, including scheduling, monitoring resources and capacity, and resolving automation exceptions or issues
- Develop a deep understanding of Power Automate, K2 and UiPath and its functionalities
- Develop automations with K2, Power Automate, UiPath Studio or custom development.
- Understand HMA's various integration points and how they can be used by BPA.
- Work on expanding and maturing integration by using automation and making recommendation to the development team.
- Interface with the software development and QA teams to ensure overall solution design adheres to HMA's standards and integrations.
- Take a platform approach to how solutions as designed, developed, deployed, and tested.
- Document solutions and ensure best practice adherence.
- Attend daily standups and bi-weekly sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Stay apprised to the latest trends in business process automation technology
- Participate in defect triage meetings and review defects
- Maintain a broad and deep understanding of our applications
Knowledge, Experience, and Key Attributes needed for Success:
- Minimum 7-10 years' experience in BPA technology
- Demonstrated experience with business-critical automations and processes
- Experience with automation technologies like K2, Power Automate and UiPath, with the ability to make tradeoffs and identify risks based on each technology
- Source code management experience
- Experience in process design, requirements gathering, and technical design documentation
- Solid understanding of the Microsoft technology stack including SharePoint, SQL Server, Internet Information Services, Windows Server, Active Directory
