Program Overview

• Enterprise Risk & Finance Technology's Global Risk Analytics technology team is building the next generation model development and execution platform. This platform will leverage a host of interesting technologies including Spark and Hadoop and utilize a unique, user-configurable, workflow-driven, model execution approach. This is a multiyear effort in a business critical domain. Global Risk Analytics (GRA) is responsible for developing analytics to support risk modeling activities across all lines of business at the Bank. Uses include CCAR, CECL, IFRS 9 and other regulatory and management reports.

Role Overview

• Automation Engineer will be part of a team of engineers, supporting the following functions
  • Build and maintain continuous integration and delivery automation
  • Build tools to automate repetitive tasks done by dev team
  • Build tools to automatically generate access controls reports for the platform
  • Build tools to monitor application and infrastructure health at all times

Responsibilities

• Automation Engineer will work with development teams to onboard applications to the enterprise SDM/horizon tools stack made up of JIRA/Jenkins/artifactory/ansible and other build/deploy automation tools. Will provide ongoing troubleshooting support that is both functional and technical. Will also help build custom tools to automate various repetitive tasks, and infrastructure monitoring. Hands on role; strong desire and ability to learn new tools and technologies. Ability to work with and mentor team members in the use of automation tools and technology. Excellent written and spoken communications skills required for clear, concise correspondence to end users. High technical experience required.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 5-7 years of applicable experience.
• Must have a solid understanding of SDLC.
• Exposure/understanding of Bitbucket, Jenkins, SonarQube, Artifactory, Ansible, JIRA. Experience in release/build engineering processes.
• Comfortable in windows and linux command line. Expertise in shell scripting.
• Strong expertise in either Python or Java.
• Able to communicate effectively both written and verbal.
• Able to support clients in a fast paced environment in critical situations.
• Able to meet all expected SLA's.
• Experience with supporting end users and providing assistance to users based on established processes.
• Recent experience should be in a Developer role. Strong Java or Python needed, with very good unix skills. Familiarity with continuous integration and delivery tools is required, expertise in these tools will be nice to have.
• Bachelors degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience.

Jersey City pay range:
$90,500 - $175,000 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
