Onsite/Remote:Partial Remote Position
This position is eligible for a flexible work schedule arrangement at the present time. The arrangement may be delayed for training or other job acclimation purposes and remains subject to change.
Your Responsibilities
As an Automation Product Verification and Validation Engineer for John Deere Harvester Worldwide Product Development located in East Moline, Illinois, you will...

• Develop system level PV&V plans to verify that the harvesting solution meets requirements and validate that the requirements meet customer needs.
• Execute System level field tests and Simulations for crop harvesting control systems and convey results, conclusions, and recommendations
• Lead projects to develop new and innovative data collection, methods and processes. Document those new methods and processes.
• Work closely and align on test equipment/methods as well as test plans with Automation Controls design, Intelligent Solutions Group (ISG), Full System and module PV&V, experimental shop technicians, and worldwide PV&V teams.
• Significant travel to fleet of test machines and customers validating system performance.

• Experience Collecting and Analyzing CAN Data
• Field Testing Experience
• Strong communication skills - experience working cross functionally with global engineering teams and customers
• Strong problem-solving skills

What Makes You Stand Out

• Experience with Off-Highway equipment, Especially Crop Harvesting
• Experience with CAN data collection and analysis
• Test Planning Experience

Education
Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

• Bachelor's of Science in Agricultural Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or related field
