Job Description

Role: Full stack developer / QA Automation Engineer

Location: East Hartford, CT

USC or GC/ Permanent Resident status is required due to the nature of work involved

In this role, you will be involved in all aspects of the software lifecycle including development, testing, deploying medium to large scale server-side applications. Your primary focus will be to understand our core business platform, discover opportunities for automation, identify and solve complex business scenarios and improve overall code coverage for quality.

Experience required:

2+ years in Software Quality Engineering roles

Must have experience with Selenium and Cucumber

Practical experience with test automation frameworks

Experience working in Agile teams

Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and tools is desired

Skills:

Java8+/J2EE, Spring, Spring-boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate, Rest API, SQL/Oracle, Tomcat/Apache servers.

Front end: Jscript, HTML, CSS, Angular/Node/React.

DevOps: Git, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines.

Exposure to cloud services - Azure/AWS.

Experience in Agile development, TDD practices.
